Practice
The work, named.
We are a healthcare advisory studio, not a staffing firm and not a bank of slides. The practice is four rooms. Most mandates live in one of them; the best ones touch two.
Clinical strategy
Neurology, intraoperative monitoring, neurotechnology, and the unglamorous work of making a protocol actually run.
We sit with operators, inventors, and clinical leaders who need a neurologist’s reading of the landscape: IONM programs, remote neurology, device workflows, and care-delivery design. The work is specific. We do not translate abstracts. We read the room the way a monitoring physician reads a tracing — for signal, not for theatre.
Policy & regulatory
The architecture that actually governs digital health, coverage, evidence, and clinical AI.
Health policy is not a press release. We work the distance between a model’s demo and what a regulator, a payer, or a health system will accept — evidence standards, coverage logic, and the quieter rules that decide whether a product lives. Principals stay on the mandate. There is no junior layer between the question and the brief.
Digital health & AI
What is ready for a clinical workflow, what still needs evidence, and how physicians will refuse or adopt it.
Most clinical AI is a slide. We help teams decide what belongs at the bedside, what belongs in a trial, and what should not ship. The test is simple: would a careful physician trust it on a Tuesday afternoon, with a full list and no extra staff? If the answer is no, we say so — and then we say what would have to change.
Diligence & briefing
Principal-led signal for investors, operators, and health systems. Written. Confidential. Finite.
Short mandates for people who have to decide. We read the materials, speak to the clinical and policy grain of the thing, and write. This is not an expert-network call with a stranger. The partners take the work, and the work product is ours.
Engagement
How a mandate looks.
- Scoped retainers or finite briefs — not open-ended “support.”
- Work product in writing, signed by the partners.
- Direct access. Brian and Rima take the calls.
- Confidential by default. We do not list clients.
